New Car

Here it is - my brand new Vauxall Astra 1.8i 16v SXi. Or at
least it was brand new on the 28th October 2000.

I bought the car from Astons in Melton Mowbray and on the
way back home I called in to Rutland Water and took these
photographs.

The car had just 12 miles on the clock when I picked it up and
had still only done 30 miles when I got there.

I am pleased to say that, some 6 months and 6,000 odd miles
later, it still looks brand new and has behaved impeccably.

It is everything I expected it to be and I still get a thrill out of
driving it every time I go out in it.
